Ingredients

  • 1 slice banana
  • 1 slice orange
  • 1 slice pear
  • 1 slice lemon
  • 1/4 cup peaches in syrup, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 oz sweet red vermouth
  • 6 oz red wine
  • Handful of ice
  • 1/4 cup bitter lemon or lemonade
  • Extra lemon and orange slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, muddle the banana, orange, pear, lemon, and sliced peaches with the syrup from the can of peaches for about 30 seconds using a wooden spoon.
  2. Add the sweet red vermouth, briefly muddle, and then pour in the red wine.
  3. Add the ice and top up with the bitter lemon or lemonade, then stir to combine.
  4. Serve the sangria garnished with extra slices of lemon and orange, if desired.
