Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 (6 oz.) strawberry Italian ice cups
  • 1/4 cup blanco tequila
  • Small fresh mint sprig, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Thaw the strawberry Italian ice cups under hot water for 10 seconds to slightly soften them.
  2. Remove the tops and empty the Italian ice into a blender.
  3. Pour in 1/4 cup blanco tequila.
  4. Blend on high speed until smooth, stopping to shake or push down any unblended blocks of Italian ice as needed, about 20 seconds in a high-speed blender or about 1 minute in a regular blender.
  5. Pour the mixture into a glass and garnish with a fresh mint sprig, if desired.
