Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 oz bourbon
  • 1/4 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the whole milk, half-and-half, confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, bourbon, cooled brewed coffee, and a pinch of nutmeg.
  2. Cover the bowl and place it in the freezer until slushy, around 3 hours.
  3. Stir the mixture and pour into chilled glass mugs or tall glasses.
  4. Top each serving with a grating of nutmeg.
