Frosty Berry Rosé Slush

A refreshing and frosty cocktail made with fresh strawberries, rosé wine, and a hint of liquor, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rosé wine
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1.50 oz simple syrup (or 4 tbsp honey, adjust to taste)
  • 2 oz Aperol, Lillet Blanc, or Grand Marnier
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice

Instructions

  1. In a high-speed blender, combine the strawberries, rosé, simple syrup or honey, Aperol or other liquor, lemon juice, and crushed ice.
  2. Blend until liquified.
  3. Place the pitcher in the freezer and freeze for 6-8 hours.
  4. Scrape the icy mixture from around the blender blades and add up to 5 oz more of rosé to thin and help get the blender blades moving.
  5. Blend, pulsing if needed and adding more rosé as needed to loosen the mixture.
  6. Serve right away or store in a container in the freezer until ready to enjoy.
