Ingredients

  • 0.50 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Powdered sugar (white sugar ground in mortar and pestle) (or use 0.5 oz of 2:1 sugar syrup per spoon)
  • 1.50 oz Gin
  • 2.50 oz Champagne Brut

Instructions

  1. Stir powdered sugar with lemon juice in the base of a shaker until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add gin, shake with ice, and fine strain into a chilled glass.
  3. Top with champagne and lightly stir. Consider pouring half the champagne into the glass first to help reduce foaming.
