Ingredients

  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1/4 cup Trix cereal
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice (about half a lime)
  • 1 pasteurized egg white
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Dash of aromatic bitters
  • Trix cereal for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place vodka in a small bowl and stir in the Trix cereal. Let it stand for 15 minutes.
  2. In another small bowl, mix the heavy whipping cream with the remaining Trix cereal. Refrigerate for 15 minutes, stirring once.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat until boiling and stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  4. Stir the vodka and cream mixtures, then strain them into a glass measuring cup to remove the cereal. Discard the cereal.
  5. Pour the vodka-cream mixture into a shaker or jar with a lid. Add the lemon and lime juices, egg white, and sugar mixture. Shake vigorously.
  6. Add the ice cubes to the shaker and shake again.
  7. Strain the drink into a chilled martini glass and top it with a dash of aromatic bitters.
  8. Garnish with Trix cereal.
