Ingredients

  • 3/8 cup (90ml) apple cider
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) pomegranate juice
  • 1/8 cup (30ml) orange juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground allspice
  • Pinch of ground clove
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 apple, thinly sliced
  • 3/8 cup (90ml) red wine of choice
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) lemon-lime soda or ginger ale or club soda
  • 1/8 cup (30ml) brandy

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, heat the apple cider, pomegranate juice, orange juice, cinnamon, allspice, and clove until it just begins to boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add the sliced fruit.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a serving pitcher, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, up to 24 hours. Chill the wine and soda as well.
  4. When ready to serve, stir in the wine, soda, and brandy.
  5. Serve with additional fruit if desired.
