Ingredients

  • 1 fresh large egg
  • 2 tablespoons fine sugar
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon white rum
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg (freshly grated)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions

  1. Crack the fresh egg into a blender and blend on low speed for 30 seconds.
  2. While the blender is running, add the sugar and blend for another 20 seconds.
  3. Turn off the blender and add the cream, milk, rum, bourbon, nutmeg, and ground cinnamon.
  4. Blend on medium speed until combined, about 10-15 seconds.
  5. Refrigerate the eggnog with the lid secured overnight or up to three days.
  6. When ready to serve, give the eggnog a quick 10-second blend on medium speed.
  7. Pour into a glass and garnish with a sprinkle of fresh nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
