Festive Blender Eggnog

Ingredients
- 1 fresh large egg
- 2 tablespoons fine sugar
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons whole milk
- 1 tablespoon white rum
- 1 tablespoon bourbon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg (freshly grated)
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
- Cinnamon stick for garnish
Instructions
- Crack the fresh egg into a blender and blend on low speed for 30 seconds.
- While the blender is running, add the sugar and blend for another 20 seconds.
- Turn off the blender and add the cream, milk, rum, bourbon, nutmeg, and ground cinnamon.
- Blend on medium speed until combined, about 10-15 seconds.
- Refrigerate the eggnog with the lid secured overnight or up to three days.
- When ready to serve, give the eggnog a quick 10-second blend on medium speed.
- Pour into a glass and garnish with a sprinkle of fresh nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
