An enchanting and powerful purple Halloween tequila cocktail made with crushed fresh berries, lime, and tequila, topped off with a sparkling berry lemonade soda.

Ingredients

  • 3 Blackberries
  • 3 Blueberries
  • 3 Raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon Agave Nectar
  • 2 Fresh Lime (wedges)
  • 2 oz Silver Tequila
  • Berry Lemonade Soda (Jones Soda or your favorite sparkling berry-flavored soda)
  • 1 teaspoon Blue Sugar (for rimming)
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt (for rimming)
  • 1 teaspoon Cracked Pepper (for rimming)

Instructions

  1. Combine colorful sanding sugars, coarse salt, and crushed peppercorn together in a small bowl, then spread evenly onto a small plate. Rub the rim of the cocktail glass with a lime wedge and dip into the rimming salts to create a colorful rim. Set aside.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, muddle all the fresh berries until crushed and juicy. Drizzle in the agave nectar, squeeze in the juice from lime wedges, and add the silver tequila. Fill 3/4 of the way with ice, and shake everything together until combined and chilled through.
  3. Strain this mixture into your rimmed cocktail glass over fresh ice and top off with sparkling berry lemonade soda. Garnish with skewered berries and dried rosebuds/edible flowers, if desired.
