Ingredients

  • 1 oz prepared espresso coffee
  • 1 oz rum
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon and cardamom syrup
  • whipped cream and ground cinnamon, to top

Instructions

  1. In a small glass, combine the espresso coffee, rum, and cinnamon and cardamom syrup, and stir well.
  2. Top the mixture with lightly whipped cream and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
  3. To make the cinnamon and cardamom syrup, heat 2 cinnamon sticks, 4 cardamom pods, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1/2 cup of water in a pot until simmering. Remove from heat and let it infuse until cool, or for up to 12 hours. Strain out the cinnamon and cardamom, and store the syrup for up to 2 weeks.
