Ingredients
- 1 tbsp coarse smoked salt
- 1 tbsp coarse white decorator sugar
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- Ice
- 1 fl oz tequila
- 0.75 fl oz lime juice
- 0.50 fl oz mezcal
- 2 fl oz club soda
- 1 tbsp pomegranate simple syrup
Instructions
- Combine smoked salt and decorator sugar on a small plate.
- Rub the rim of a Collins glass with a wedge of lime, then dip the rim into the salt-sugar mixture. Fill the glass with ice.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add tequila, lime juice, and mezcal.
- Cover the shaker and shake well until very cold.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and add club soda.
- Slowly drizzle the pomegranate simple syrup into the glass; the syrup will settle at the bottom, creating a visually appealing color variation.
