Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. rum
- 1/2 oz. Campari
- 1/2 oz. Averna
- 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
- 3/4 oz. spiced syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Allspice berries
- Whole cloves
- Cinnamon stick
- Sugar
- Water
- Ice
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine 4 cups of water with allspice berries, whole cloves, and a cinnamon stick.
- Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and let simmer for 20 minutes.
- Slowly add sugar, stirring constantly until completely dissolved.
- Add more sugar, stir to dissolve, then remove from the heat and let cool.
- In a shaker with ice, combine rum, Campari, Averna, fresh lime juice, spiced syrup, and Angostura bitters.
- Shake to chill and strain into a coupe.
