Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz Hangar 1 Honeycomb Vodka
  • 6 oz fresh-pressed apple cider
  • 2 oz water
  • 1/2 - 1 tsp packed, finely grated ginger root (to taste)
  • 1 tsp strained fresh lemon juice
  • Dash cinnamon
  • Dash freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp honey
  • Cinnamon stick, apple slice, or lemon wheel to garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the apple cider, water, grated ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and bring to a bare simmer.
  2. In a mug, combine the honeycomb vodka and lemon juice.
  3. Strain the hot spiced cider into the mug, discarding the solids.
  4. Stir in the honey until melted.
  5. Optional: Add lemon and/or honey to taste.
  6. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, apple round, and/or lemon wheel.
