Coconut Dream Margarita

A frozen coconut margarita with the perfect touch of sweetness, thanks to the addition of coconut water and cream of coconut.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1/8 cup tequila
  • 1/8 cup fresh lime juice (from 1 medium lime)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons triple sec
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sweetened cream of coconut (such as Coco López)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Instructions

  1. Freeze the coconut water in a small, shallow plastic container or ice-cube tray for 4 to 5 hours until solid.
  2. Place the frozen coconut water in a blender.
  3. Add tequila, lime juice, triple sec, cream of coconut, ice, and salt to the blender.
  4. Process until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  5. Pour into a frozen rocks glass and garnish with a lime wedge.
