Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups coconut milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 oz. alcohol 95% or 151 proof grain alcohol (or 4 oz. Vodka)
- 5 tbsp desiccated coconut
- 2 tsp coconut essence
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk, cream, desiccated coconut, sugar, and milk until the sugar has melted.
- Allow the mixture to cool, then chill it in the fridge.
- Add the alcohol and coconut essence, and mix thoroughly.
- Filter the liqueur through a sieve and bottle it.
- Store it in the fridge for a couple of days, shaking well before serving.
