Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cups coconut milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 oz. grain alcohol (or 4 oz. Vodka)
  • 5 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 2 tsp coconut essence

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, heavy cream, desiccated coconut, sugar, and milk. Heat until the sugar has melted.
  2. Let the mixture cool and then chill thoroughly in the fridge.
  3. Add the alcohol and coconut essence, and mix well.
  4. Strain the mixture through a sieve and bottle it.
  5. Store in the fridge for a couple of days, shaking well before serving.
