Clear and Creamy Piña
A unique and visually stunning cocktail that combines mezcal, tequila, pineapple juice, lemon juice, orgeat syrup, and heavy cream, resulting in a beautifully clear and creamy libation.
Ingredients
- 1.50 oz Mezcal
- 2 oz Blanco Tequila
- 1 oz Pineapple Juice
- 0.50 oz Freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
- 0.50 oz Orgeat Syrup
- 0.75 oz Heavy Cream
- 1 Sage leaf (For Garnish)
Instructions
- In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients except the heavy cream and stir.
- In a separate container, pour the heavy cream slowly, then add the cocktail mixture without stirring.
- Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 24 hours.
- Place a coffee filter in a fine mesh sieve over a bowl and pour the cocktail mixture through the filter.
- Serve over 1 large ice cube and garnish with sage. The clarified cocktail can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
