Cinnamon Spice Apple Elixir

Ingredients
- 4-6 medium sized cinnamon sticks
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 oz vodka
- 1/2 oz apple brandy or Calvados
- 1/2 oz apple juice
- 1/2 oz toasted cinnamon syrup
- 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- Fresh apple slice or dehydrated apple chip, for garnish
Instructions
- Toast the cinnamon sticks in a dry pot until fragrant.
- Add water and bring to a boil, then stir in the sugar to dissolve.
- Simmer for 15 minutes, then let the syrup steep until deeply flavorful.
- Remove and discard the cinnamon sticks.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add the vodka, apple brandy, apple juice, cinnamon syrup, and lemon juice.
