Ingredients

  • 0.50 g dried cannabis
  • 2 cups whole milk, divided
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. raw almonds
  • 1 tsp. rose water
  • 1/2 tsp. fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 8 black peppercorns
  • Dried rose petals (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 225°F.
  2. Spread the dried cannabis in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 14-16 minutes until fragrant and lightly toasted.
  3. Transfer the toasted cannabis to a blender and add 1 cup of whole milk, sugar, raw almonds, rose water, fennel seeds, ground cardamom, ground turmeric, kosher salt, and black peppercorns.
  4. Blend the mixture until frothy and smooth, for about 30 seconds.
  5. Add the remaining 1 cup of whole milk and blend again until the sugar is dissolved, for about 30 seconds.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat, for about 3 minutes. Let it cool.
  7. Divide the mixture among 8 small glasses filled with ice and top with dried rose petals.
