Ingredients
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoons malted milk powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- Tiny pinch kosher salt
- 6 ounces hot black coffee
- 2 ounces spiced rum
- 1 tablespoon 2:1 simple syrup
- Freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, malted milk powder, brown sugar, and salt. Beat until the cream forms soft peaks.
- Preheat a mug by pouring hot water into it, letting it stand for 1 minute, then draining.
- Combine hot coffee, spiced rum, and simple syrup in the prewarmed mug.
- Using a spoon, dollop the whipped cream on top of the coffee.
- Optionally, top with freshly grated nutmeg.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
