A punchy variation of the classic carajillo with the tropical twist of bourbon and pineapple syrup.

Ingredients

  • 1.75 oz warm espresso
  • 1/2 oz pineapple syrup
  • 1/4 oz Cardamaro
  • 3/4 oz Licor 43
  • 1 oz bourbon
  • Garnish: dehydrated pineapple slice

Instructions

  1. Combine warm espresso, pineapple syrup, Cardamaro, Licor 43, and bourbon in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Fine strain the mixture into a coupe glass.
  4. Garnish with a dehydrated pineapple slice.
