Add some punch to your carajillo with the addition of bourbon, Cardamaro, and pineapple syrup to make a slightly tropical and much more complex variation than coffee and Licor 43 alone.
Bourbon Pineapple Carajillo
A punchy variation of the classic carajillo with the tropical twist of bourbon and pineapple syrup.
Ingredients
- 1.75 oz warm espresso
- 1/2 oz pineapple syrup
- 1/4 oz Cardamaro
- 3/4 oz Licor 43
- 1 oz bourbon
- Garnish: dehydrated pineapple slice
Instructions
- Combine warm espresso, pineapple syrup, Cardamaro, Licor 43, and bourbon in a shaker with ice.
- Shake well.
- Fine strain the mixture into a coupe glass.
- Garnish with a dehydrated pineapple slice.
