Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups unfiltered apple cider
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 oz bourbon
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Start by reducing the apple cider in a small saucepan until it's reduced by half, then let it cool and refrigerate.
  2. For the maple whipped cream, whip the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gradually add the maple syrup and continue whipping until soft peaks reappear. Refrigerate until serving.
  3. In a blender, combine the cider reduction, bourbon, cinnamon, ginger, maple syrup, and pumpkin puree.
  4. Add the vanilla ice cream to the blender and pulse until smooth.
  5. Pour the milkshake into a serving glass and top it off with the maple whipped cream.
