Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 2 to 3 drops bourbon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 3 to 4 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place ice in a coupe glass to chill and set aside.
  2. In a shaker, pour the Bourbon and simple syrup.
  3. Add two to three drops of vanilla extract and the egg white from a large egg.
  4. Shake vigorously for thirty seconds.
  5. Add three to four ice cubes to the shaker, close it tightly, and shake vigorously for another ten seconds.
  6. Discard the ice from the chilled coupe glass and strain the cocktail using a Hawthorne strainer.
  7. Garnish by sprinkling a pinch of nutmeg on the foam.
