Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
  • 1/4 cup Pinnacle(r) Whipped Vodka
  • Optional garnishes: whipped cream, crushed peppermint, chocolate curls

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until fully combined.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Stir in the crushed peppermint and continue stirring until the candies have dissolved and the mixture is very hot, but not boiling.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the Pinnacle(r) Whipped Vodka.
  5. Pour or ladle the hot chocolate into mugs and garnish with whipped cream and additional crushed peppermint, if desired.
