Ingredients

  • 2 oz blackberries, plus extra for garnish
  • 3/4 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 oz vodka
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • Soda water to top up
  • Raspberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill the glass in the freezer for a few minutes.
  2. Place half of the blackberries in the glass, along with the sugar and vanilla extract, then muddle the ingredients together.
  3. Add the lemon juice and vodka, and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Add the remaining blackberries and ice to the glass.
  5. Top up the drink almost to the top of the glass with soda water, then give it a few more stirs.
  6. Thread a piece of raspberry and blackberry onto a toothpick and place it on the rim of the glass as a garnish.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
