A delightful blend of hot coffee spiked with bourbon, Amaro Averna, crème de cacao, and Gran Classico, topped with optional spiked whipped cream.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 tablespoon Gran Classico
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 ounce Averna
- 1/2 ounce bourbon
- 1/2 ounce high-quality crème de cacao
- 1/4 ounce Gran Classico
- 4 ounces hot coffee
Instructions
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream, Gran Classico, and sugar until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- Warm a mug with boiling water. In a measuring cup, mix Averna, bourbon, crème de cacao, and Gran Classico.
- Discard the hot water from the mug and pour the bourbon mixture into it.
- Add hot coffee to the mug and stir well.
- Top with the prepared whipped cream and serve.
