Ingredients

  • 9 large basil leaves
  • 4 oz vodka
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • Ice
  • Seltzer
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Tear 5 basil leaves into a jar and soak them in vodka.
  2. Shake the mixture, seal, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  3. Combine the granulated sugar and remaining basil leaves in a food processor or blender.
  4. Pulse until the green is chopped into small pieces.
  5. Rim the glasses with the basil sugar.
  6. Strain the infused vodka into the glasses.
  7. Add lemonade and top with seltzer.
  8. Serve immediately.
