Ingredients
- 3 sprigs of thyme, plus extra for garnish
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 1/2 ounces rye whiskey
- 1 ounce mirto liqueur
- Ice
- 1 ounce ginger beer
- 1 lemon rind, for garnish
Instructions
- Place the thyme and bitters in a pint glass and gently muddle them together.
- Add the rye whiskey and mirto liqueur to the glass.
- Fill a shaker with ice, then pour the mixture into the shaker.
- Stir with a bar spoon, then strain the mixture into an ice-filled rocks glass.
