Ingredients

  • 2 oz whiskey bourbon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 dashes angostura bitters
  • 1 oz cinnamon simple syrup
  • 2 oz Apple Cider
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 2 cinnamon sticks to a boil.
  2. Let the mixture boil for 1 minute, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the cinnamon syrup to cool to room temperature.
  4. Transfer the syrup to the fridge until it's cool.
  5. In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients except the egg white.
  6. Add the egg white, close the shaker lid, and shake vigorously for 15-30 seconds.
  7. Open the shaker lid, add ice, and shake for another 10 seconds until the shaker is cold.
  8. Serve the cocktail with a dehydrated apple as a garnish.
