A delightful autumn cocktail with warm cinnamon, tart apple cider, and smooth whiskey bourbon, finished with a velvety texture and an elegant dehydrated apple garnish.
Ingredients
- 2 oz whiskey bourbon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 dashes angostura bitters
- 1 oz cinnamon simple syrup
- 2 oz Apple Cider
- 1 egg white
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 2 cinnamon sticks to a boil.
- Let the mixture boil for 1 minute, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the cinnamon syrup to cool to room temperature.
- Transfer the syrup to the fridge until it's cool.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients except the egg white.
- Add the egg white, close the shaker lid, and shake vigorously for 15-30 seconds.
- Open the shaker lid, add ice, and shake for another 10 seconds until the shaker is cold.
- Serve the cocktail with a dehydrated apple as a garnish.
