Autumn Harvest Sangria
A delightful and refreshing sangria made with apple cider, brandy, fresh fruit, and a hint of Prosecco, perfect for the fall season.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 2 tablespoons brandy
- 2 tablespoons fresh clementine or orange juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and very thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon orange bitters
- 1 clementine, thinly sliced
- 1/2 apple (Pink Lady, Honeycrisp or your favorite), very thinly sliced
- Pomegranate seeds, for serving
- 3 oz Prosecco or other dry sparkling wine
- Ice
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine apple cider, brandy, clementine juice, lemon juice, ginger, and orange bitters.
- Stir in the clementine and apple slices, and refrigerate the mixture for up to a day.
- When ready to serve, add Prosecco to the pitcher and stir gently.
- Serve the sangria over ice, and garnish with a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds.
