Ingredients
- 1/2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1/4 lemon, cut into wedges
- 1/2 oz maple syrup
- 2 oz [ yellow tail ] Pure Bright Pinot Grigio
- 1 1/2 oz apple cider
- 1 oz bourbon
- 1/4 tsp rim mixture
- Ice
- Apple slices and cinnamon sticks, for garnish
Instructions
- In a small dish, mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Rub the rim of a stemless wineglass with a lemon wedge, then dip it in the sugar mixture. Fill the glass with ice.
- Muddle lemon wedges and maple syrup in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
- Add Pinot Grigio, apple cider, bourbon, and 1/4 teaspoon of the remaining sugar mixture to the shaker.
- Fill shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is frosty.
- Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass and garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks.
