Aperol Froth is a luscious and refreshing cocktail featuring gin, Aperol, and lemon juice, topped with a velvety foam.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 fl oz gin
- 1 frozen egg white cube (about 1 fl oz)
- 3/4 fl oz lemon juice
- 1/2 fl oz Aperol
- 2 tsp granulated sugar
- 3 dashes orange bitters
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, combine gin, frozen egg white, lemon juice, Aperol, sugar, orange bitters, and salt.
- Vigorously shake until the egg white has melted and the drink is very foamy, for about 60 to 90 seconds.
- Add ice to the cocktail shaker and vigorously shake for an additional 30 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or rocks glass and serve.
