Ingredients

  • 1 oz Rye whiskey (100 proof / 50% alc./vol.)
  • 0.50 oz Angostura or other aromatic bitters
  • 0.50 oz Pimento dram/Allspice liqueur
  • 0.75 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 0.75 oz Grenadine/pomegranate syrup
  • 0.50 oz Pasteurized egg white (or aquafaba)

Instructions

  1. Combine rye whiskey, Angostura bitters, pimento dram, lemon juice, grenadine, and egg white in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake well and strain back into the shaker.
  3. Dry shake (without ice) vigorously to emulsify the egg white, then fine strain the mixture into a chilled glass.
