Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz absinthe
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • Fresh mint, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine absinthe and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker filled 3/4 with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously for about 12 seconds until chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a double rocks glass or julep cup filled with crushed ice.
  4. Stir the drink and top with more crushed ice.
  5. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.
